During this 4 Day & 3 Night Iquitos, Peru rainforest tour our Iquitos jungle guides will take the traveler deep into the largest, most diverse natural areas in the world. This tour includes 1 night of camping in the jungle at “Mirador Palo Alto”, a 3 story observation tower that provides a birds-eye view of the lowland jungle. This rainforest expedition also includes some of our most popular activities including: visits to the largest type of tree in the Amazon, bird watching excursion, piranha fishing, rainforest hiking, visit with native Amazonian tribes and mestizo villages, canoe rides, viewing of pink river dolphins and much more!

DAY 1

  • Pick-up at airport/hotel

  • Departure from Iquitos City via auto to arrive in the port town of Nanay (Bellavista), where the Rio Nanay meets the Rio Amazonas

​

  • ​1-hour boat ride on the Amazon River (Rio Amazonas) to Fundo Pedrito de Iquitos (See animals of the jungle)

    • ​During the riverboat trip we will have a great possibility of seeing caimans, turtles, herons, pink river dolphins, snakes, and many other species of flora/fauna along the riverbank.

  • ​1-hour boat ride on Amazon River to arrive at Zoológical El Encanto De Rony.

    • Interact with and feed monkeys local fruit (Aprox. 20 soles for fruit not included in all-inclusive)

    • At the Animal Center see animals in rehabilitation awaiting to be released in Pacaya Samiria National reserve

    • Possible to see river otters, sloths, monkeys, and other animals of the jungle​​

  • Yagua Amazonian Tribe visit 

    • See how a blowgun that has been passed down through the Yagua tribe for generations is used and have a chance to try it yourself! ​

    • Opportunity to have your face painted with ceremonial face paint 

    • Participate in Indigenous tribal dance 

    • Access to tribal "shop" showcasing authentic handcreafted cultural goods created by the Yaguas in the Amazon with mostly all natural materials from the jungle
